A serene Christmas

I was sitting under my favorite spot under a tree by the lake in St Stephens Green park, watching the ducks and swans and pigeons. Breathing in the chilly winter morning mist was quite painful to the lungs, yet extremely refreshing.

Surrounded by the quiet serenity, I told God things that were on my mind, all the questions I have which never seem to be answered. I know I have been extremely caught up with life, and asked for forgiveness for all those times I brushed Him aside. Forgiveness which I do not deserve at all.

I took a few pictures then, and as I was looking through them in my camera when I got back home, God showed me His words through the photos, things which I never noticed earlier, and I can't help but smile at His way of talking to me.

Here's a few that I'd like to share...

Trust Him when dark clouds surround.

Trust Him when fearful doubts abound.

Trust Him when your strength may fail,

Trust Him when anxious thoughts assail.

Trust Him when His name you are barely able to call,

Trust Him when to simply Trust him is the hardest thing of all.

A man's mind plans His way, but the Lord directs His steps and makes them sure.

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

When under trial, let no one say : "I am being tried by God." For with evil things, God cannot be tried, nor does He Himself try anyone.

Hmm....I don't think the photos do much justice to the beauty of His creations. Don't you think so too?
